Singapore, 28th June 2021- After making it’s debut at Clementi, Tenderfresh Group is pleased to announce the opening of Kedai Kopi 2 at Haig Road on 1st July 2021. The new outlet is located beside the Muslim Converts Association of Singapore (Darul Arqam Singapore) with a cosy 168-seater space with 9 food stalls.
“We are excited to work with Kimly Coffeeshop again to develop the second Kedai Kopi in less than 6 months" said Kelvin Chua, Chief Operating Officer of Tenderfresh Group. "The number of applications and interests for our second outlet was immerse and we were greatly encouraged by the response for our debut. This is a testament that the concept is well-received by the community especially after all 8 stalls at the Clementi branch have received their halal certification and given us more confidence in our vision that food connects people, regardless of what culture we come from."
Apart from crowd favorites like Tenderbest's fried chicken and the popular Volcano Ayam by Mee Bagus, the new tenants assembled, promises to deliver a lip-smackingly dining experience at the new location. Experience CRAVE Nasi Lemak Padang popular nasi lemak the first time in Padang style, topped off with their tantalising iconic sambal. MaLa MaMa by Pince & Pints offers a mix of fresh ingredients fried or blanched, doused in wickedly sedap-licious ‘heavenly mala sauce’ or ‘savoury salted egg sauce’ that is seriously addictive.
Rasa Sedap Seafood, managed by Chef Kelvin Yip, a former group executive chef of a F&B group that runs more than 30 Tze Char stalls across the island will delight foodies with his signature dishes. Nenda's Fritters is managed by Cik Munah & family who have been serving up delicious Pisang Goreng, Keropok Lekor and Epok Epok in Pasar Malam for more than 20 years while Pasta Pizza is a latest concept developed by tenderfresh, extending their hugely popular Asian-Fusion pasta menu into pizzas and baked rice. Fans of Hawkerman, formerly located at Singpost Centre could once againn savour their favourite Hokkien mee with new items like Crispy Oyster Omelette.
Last but not least, the drink stall Toko Ngopi will continue it’s popular drink menu, notably the super cute Bandung Grenade (aka giant Yakult) that was sold out within a week and will be introducing a new flavour, Ribena Bandung specially for the Haig road opening.
Kedai Kopi requires all of its tenants to be 100% Muslim owned or have to apply for halal certification after their opening.

Stall 4: Mee Bagus
The mod Mi Ayam stall is helmed by two passionate noodle enthusiasts, Chef Daniel Tay (Cats & The fiddle) & Kelvin Chua (Tenderfresh). What sets the noodle centric menu from the rest is that apart from providing the standard Mi Ayam (using kecap manis & sambal), the menu also offers Mee Bagus which is much closer to the local Chinese style with their special sambal mix. There are also quirky creations like Volcano Ayam served in ramen style, which is a popular hit at the Clementi stall.

Apart from the usual teh tarik, kopi peng and iced limau for the lepak session, the menu also includes 2 litre Milo Tower, roasted Oolong tea creations like Candy Dragon, Gui Fei Oolong and also a giant 500ml Yakult based Bandung called Bandung Grenade. For the opening of Haig Road, they will be introducing a new Ribena Bandung as well.
The usual breakfast set also includes Japanese’s style Onsen Egg as an option, which is unusual for coffeeshop in the heartland.
